PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Within the CAB Purchasing team, the resource will be responsible for managing a complete product line in terms of both operative and strategic tasks.
This includes:
- Lead supplier evaluation, selection and sourcing activities for assigned CAB commodities (Steel and Components), while supporting regional and global sourcing projects in collaboration with commodity teams.
- Develop and implement supply base management strategies, both regionally and globally, aimed at achieving the lowest total cost while ensuring quality, service, delivery performance and innovation.
- Negotiate, implement and manage Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), achieving commercial savings, raw material recovery and total cost reduction objectives while supporting business priorities.
- Drive supplier development,
VA/VE initiatives and process improvement activities to support productivity and budget targets.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, cost drivers, capacity constraints, technology advancements and supplier performance to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, capacity planning, risk mitigation and financial health monitoring.
- Prepare and present sourcing strategies, business cases and performance updates to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Procurement roles
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate as an effective team member
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Availability to travel
SALARY INFORMATION:
- Applied Contract: CCSL Contratto Collettivo Specifico di Lavoro Iveco Group
- Grade: 2° Gruppo Qualificato
- Salary range: Euro 40.000 – 47.000
- Variable payment as per CCSL Contratto Collettivo Specifico di Lavoro Iveco Group
