Junior Sales Representative (B2B / Freelance)
Location: Remote (Italy-based)
Contract: Long-term B2B / Freelance (12+ months)

Scope of engagement:
Long-term collaboration focused on new business development and customer acquisition in the Italian retail market.
Estimated workload comparable to a full-time engagement, with flexibility in scheduling.
Compensation:
Annual contract value: €24,000 – €36 000,000 gross
- Fixed monthly retainer
- Performance-based bonuses linked to successful customer acquisition and sales results

Important:
This role is offered on a B2B basis. Candidates must have, or be ready to obtain, Partita IVA status in Italy.

Role Overview




We are looking for a Junior Sales Representative to create and expand Retano’s customer base in Italy. The primary focus of the role is cold acquisition: identifying target retailers and relevant decision-makers, initiating first contact, qualifying leads, and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Research the Italian retail market and create target customer lists focused on medium and large retailers
- Identify relevant decision-makers and contacts at different organizational levels within target accounts
- Initiate cold outreach to prospective customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels
- Run structured follow-up activities to generate interest and secure initial meetings
- Qualify and evaluate leads based on customer interest, business potential, and development prospects
- Conduct initial discovery to understand customer needs and identify pote
