We continue to grow and to support that growth, we are now recruiting a Senior Engineer to join our Bridges and Structures team in Milan with opportunity to work flexibly between the office and from home.
The Bridges and Structures team workload ranges from feasibility studies to scheme designs, detailed designs, assessments, inspections, construction support and management services on a wide range of structures. We are now looking to enhance and grow this team with individuals with a sound technical background and who share our enthusiasm and determination to support our expanding workload.
We have a selection of exciting bridges and structures projects and opportunities recently awarded at national, European and International level where this role can support in conjunction with the global complex bridges and structures AECOM team.

Qualifiche

Minimum requirements
- 5+ years of relevant structural and bridge engineering experience.




- Experience in Bridge & Structural Engineering and the related application of Eurocodes and National Highways and Railway Standards. Knowledge of Australian AS5100, AASHTO LRFD and ACI design codes is considered an advantage.
- Experience in structural analysis, using MIDAS Civil, IDEA Statica and Ponti EC4. Knowledge of Sofistik software is considered an advantage.
- Good technical and communication skills in Italian and English language.
- Ability to prepare design reports, technical notes and client presentations in English.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and multidisciplinary project environments.

Qualifications
- MEng or higher degree in Structural Engineering.
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer in Italy or with ICE (or having fully completed the Initial Professional Development (IPD) requirements and planning to sit the Professional Review within the next 6 months).
