RESPONSABILITIES & DUTIES
The Nuclear Fluid Systems Engineer will be responsible for:
Responsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of fluid-based systems in nuclear power plants, research reactors, and other nuclear facilities.
Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of cooling,
steam, and hydraulic systems while maintaining strict compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory standards.
Working closely with reactor engineers, regulatory agencies, and maintenance teams to develop and improve system performance, reliability, and safety.
What you will be in charge off:
Designing, analyzing, and optimizing nuclear fluid systems, including reactor coolant, steam generation, condensate, and hydraulic systems.
Conducting thermal-hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and pressure drop calculations to ensure system efficiency and safety.
Developing and maintaining system documentation, including flow diagrams, P&IDs;, operating procedures, and safety reports.
Performing system reliability assessments, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for fluid system failures.
Ensuring compliance with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulations, ASME codes, and other industry standards.
