Legal Counsel Italy

We are seeking a talented and highly experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support to our operations in Italy and to serve as the primary legal point of contact for our renewable energy development activities in the country. This position will report directly to the Head of Legal Europe and Latam.

The successful candidate will support senior management and all business functions in Italy, with a particular focus on corporate and the development and construction of solar and BESS projects. The role requires a strong background in corporate, transactional and energy law, combined with hands-on experience in negotiating and executing a wide range of commercial agreements. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, proactive, commercially minded and capable of exercising sound, pragmatic judgment in a fast-paced international environment.
Your Responsibilities

- Draft,
review and negotiate all contracts and legal documents relevant to the development andconstruction of solar and BESS energy projects in Italy, including Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs), EPC Contracts, Development Services Agreements (DSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Grid Connection Agreements, Land Lease Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and any other agreements required in the course of the business.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and tailored solutions to support major business decisions and strategic initiatives related to solar and renewable energy projects across all stages: development, permitting, construction and operations & maintenance.
- Participate in and lead the negotiation of commercial agreements and transactions, ensuring legal risks are properly identified, assessed and mitigated in a manner consistent with the company's risk appetite and business objectives.
