JOB PURPOSE
The candidate will join the Procurement team and will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the packaging, small equipment, small household appliances, and ceramics categories, ensuring high standards of quality, cost efficiency, and supply chain continuity.
The role involves strong cross-functional coordination with the Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams in order to support store needs and the development of new packaging solutions,
including seasonal campaigns and special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Packaging Management
Management and sourcing of packaging categories (shopping bags, boxes, gift packaging, takeaway and delivery materials, cups, etc.), both food-contact and commercial packaging
Coordination of the development of seasonal packaging and holiday-specific packaging
Monitoring demand and planning orders in collaboration with the Operations and Sales teams
Supplier Management
Identification, selection, and development of new suppliers
Management of commercial negotiations, tenders, and purchasing conditions
Monitoring supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery times, and service levels
Collection and verification of all certifications in compliance with current regulations
Cost and Budget Control
Support, monitoring, and inventory analysis of cost centers and suppliers
Monitoring and optimization
