The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Technical Instructional Designer to support our 12,000+ global employees in the High Voltage Business Unit.
In alignment with Hitachi Energy High Voltage’s learning vision and growth strategy, this role will help architect our inaugural training center of expertise and knowledge community. This will include creating engaging technical content and courses, utilizing micro-, people-centric, role- skill- and level-based learning methodologies.

How You'll Make an Impact
Working closely with the Global Learning Manager, you will collaborate with cross-cultural and functional leaders, technical subject matter experts, knowledge owners,

and learning experts to determine and create content to fulfill critical knowledge needs. This role will help architect our inaugural Global HV Learning Center of Expertise.
You will create skill- and role-based learning objectives, assessments, certifications, stories, scenarios, knowledge checks, case studies, interactive activities, scripts, content, and videos adhering to all branded standards, processes, and style-guides.
You will interpret skill matrixes to determine critical knowledge gaps and develop training content. You will create step-by-step guides, best practice and troubleshooting documents, infographics, animations, videos, interactive elements, learning activities, assessments, gamification, and courses while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
