Leonardo SpA is seeking an Autonomy Software Engineer for its Cascina Costa (VA) office. The role blends hands-on software development with research to create reusable autonomy frameworks and reference architectures.
You will prototype, test, and refine deterministic autonomy tools while guiding best practices across the team. The ideal candidate holds a Master or PhD in relevant engineering, 3–6 years’ experience in modern C++, and hands-on work with Docker, PX4, ROS 2, Gazebo and Jetson
