Job Description System Engineer – Channel Sec Ops SME The Channel Sec Ops SME strengthens Fortinet's Sec Ops pillar across the partner ecosystem (Enterprise and SMB). The mission of this role is to enable partners to effectively position, sell, and deliver Sec Ops solutions, not only at a product level but by helping them build repeatable, service-based offerings. This includes technical enablement, demo and lab ownership, solution-selling support, and the creation of scalable frameworks. The role acts as a technical leader for Sec Ops within the channel, accelerating partner maturity and driving adoption of Fortinet's Sec Ops portfolio. Responsibilities Train and technically enable partners on Sec Ops architectures, workflows, and integrations. Own and evolve the Sec Ops demo lab (in collaboration with SSE Sec Ops), including demos and simulations. Support CAM Sec Ops and BDMs in sales plays, partner engagements, and co-selling activities. Provide technical leadership to help partners move from product knowledge to full Sec Ops solution selling and service creation.
Drive technical strategies and enablement in alignment with the channel sales organisation to achieve partner commercial goals. Serve as a trusted advisor to partners, demonstrating the business value of Fortinet Sec Ops solutions. Guide and train partners to successfully position and sell Fortinet solutions through technical, consultative, and architectural pre-sales support. Provide technical guidance to help partners achieve Fortinet certifications. Keep partners updated on Fortinet products, solutions, services, and promotions. Maintain awareness of partner service models, Sec Ops market trends, and industry developments. Support partner-led events, seminars, and training workshops. Requirements Strong skills in network and cybersecurity and motivated to join the Channel Sec Ops team. Experience with Sec Ops technologies including EDR, SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, and Advanced Threat Protection.
