Keysight is looking for a Wireless Protocol Integration Engineer to support the integration, validation, and system‐level adoption of 3 GPP 5 G and pre‐6 G protocol features . This role acts as a bridge between protocol R&D; development and end‐to‐end system validation , working close to real implementations and evolving standards. The focus is on feature integration, test environments,
and system‐level validation . This position plays a key role in early 6 G pre‐standard activities within a multi‐site international setup .
Responsibilities
Work closely with R&D; 3 GPP Protocol Development teams to integrate 5 G and pre‐6 G features Support UE and base station emulation Contribute to pre‐6 G standards , following 3 GPP evolution Target, configure, and maintain host and test environments Collaborate with R&D; software teams and cross‐functional experts (systems, RF, protocol, product, customers/partners) to align on feature implementation, reproduce field issues, debug complex behaviors, and validate fixes Design, build, and execute tests to validate protocol features using scripting languages Qualifications Strong expertise in 3 GPP LTE / NR protocols Linux OS knowledge Python scripting Strong communication skills and proactive attitude Experience working in a multi‐site en
