Role Description The Founding Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and iterating on Vita's core platform as part of a small, early‐stage team. This is a full‐time, on‐site role based in Trento, where the engineer will work closely with the founders to shape product architecture,
implement new features, and ensure scalability and reliability of AI‐driven services. Day‐to‐day responsibilities include developing backend and frontend components, integrating AI models and APIs, setting up and maintaining infrastructure, and establishing engineering best practices and workflows. The Founding Engineer will collaborate with product, design, and partner organizations to translate user needs into robust technical solutions, and will contribute to technical roadmapping, experimentation, and rapid prototyping. The role also involves code reviews, documentation, and mentoring future engineering hires as the team grows.
