Overview Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. As a partner section, MSF Italy is engaged in saving lives and alleviating suffering through fundraising; communication and advocacy, recruitment and deployment of field workers; as well as supporting international operations through expertise and other kinds of direct support.
The Marketing & Content Unit is responsible for developing strategies, content, campaigns, and fundraising events that contribute to achieving MSF Italy's annual fundraising objectives. The Head of the Marketing & Content Unit is responsible for defining and leading the Unit's strategy, ensuring alignment with MSF Italy's strategic plan and delivering fundraising objectives through an integrated, innovative, and results-oriented approach.
Responsibilities Defines the strategic direction of the Marketing & Content Unit by identifying priorities, assessing risks,



establishing performance indicators, monitoring results, and driving continuous improvement;
Approves the strategic plans for major fundraising campaigns (e.g. 5x1000 tax donation campaign, SMS fundraising, legacy giving, and corporate campaigns), with particular focus on media strategy and the effectiveness of communication channels;
Oversees fundraising and communication activities in response to emergencies, ensuring compliance with the Emergency Fundraising Policy and maximizing both fundraising income and the visibility of MSF Italy;
Identifies and proposes new engagement campaigns to the Director of Fundraising & Data, targeting new audiences or leveraging new engagement approaches to expand fundraising opportunities;
Supports the other Units within the Fundraising & Data Department in defining their target audiences and the most effective marketing strategies to reach them, combining channels, tools
