The remit spans product industrialisation, production, industrial purchasing, supplier development, supply chain, logistics and operational systems, across all categories, with leather goods at the core. It is a hands‐on role, spent largely with suppliers, manufacturing partners and warehouses, with a mandate to simplify and modernise how the brand makes and delivers its products. It suits a driven, hungry, direct operator with the curiosity and creativity to take the brand further, not to administer the status quo.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Industrialisation Industrialise new products with the creative and product teams: prototyping, sampling, technical development and bills of materials, from concept to production-ready. Ensure new collections are executable in quality, cost and lead time before they enter production. Production Lead production across all categories: leather goods first, plus stationery, writing instruments and lifestyle accessories.
Coordinate the external / façon manufacturing network to the highest standards of quality, timing and execution. Balance priorities across collections and continuously improve industrial performance. Industrial Purchasing & Supplier Development Lead industrial purchasing and negotiate commercial terms. Identify, qualify and develop new manufacturing partners, prioritising the leather supply base, and build long‐term relationships with key suppliers.
