Direct message the job poster from g2 RecruitmentConnecting top talent in Aerospace and DefenceCurrently, we are seeking a skilled and experienced System Safety Engineer with a background in the defense/military sector to join our client.The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with military-grade systems, a deep understanding of functional safety standards, and the ability to handle classified documentation in accordance with national and international security protocols.- Participate in defining and implementing functional safety requirements, complying with standards like IEC 61508, MIL-STD-882, and ISO 26262 (adapted to the defense domain).- Collaborate with system, hardware, and software teams to ensure safety requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented.- Contribute to hazard analyses, risk assessments (HARA),
