The Technical Certification Engineer supports certification activities to ensure compliance with applicable emissions regulations and timely product approvals across North America. This role partners cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and regulatory stakeholders to prepare, submit, and track certification documentation, maintain regulatory knowledge, and support the resolution of compliance issues. In addition, the role supports certification strategy by contributing to the development of certification objectives and assisting in the implementation of systems and processes that drive consistency and efficiency. The role maintains working relationships with regulatory authorities and supports the timely submission and approval of certification documentation. The person works with the Quality and Legal departments as needed, supports the resolution of non-conformities, and ensures that certification activities align with product launch timelines and business needs.

Support certification strategy by collaborating with engineering and platform teams to align regulatory requirements with product development.
Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of certification processes, systems, and documentation standards.
Maintain effective working relationships with regulatory authorities to support certification activities.
Track certification timelines and support the timely submission and approval of required certificates.
