Experteer OverviewAs a Subsea Mechanical and Structural Engineer at Saipem, you will contribute to the Sonsub office by designing structural and mechanical elements while selecting appropriate components and materials. You will manage external resources for 2D/3D design and fabrication testing, ensuring cost efficiency, standardization, and maintainability. You'll work with Autodesk Vault to manage models and documentation, collaborating across disciplines to deliver offshore and onshore projects. This role offers global travel and a path to impact energy transition through innovative subsea solutions. Responsibilities Design structural and machine elements with attention to corrosion, machining,
welding and tolerances Select commercial components and materials focusing on cost, standardization, and maintainability Manage external engineering resources for 2D/3D design and external subcontractors for fabrication/testing Oversee 3D models produced internally and externally and file documents in Autodesk Vault Qualifications Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (chosen as the minimum xrdztoy clearly required) 5 years as a mechanical design engineer lead in oil&gas; or automation Fluent Italian and English Autodesk Vault and Inventor, Ansys for finite element analysis, Office suite Benefits health insurance internal gym discounts and partnerships health and well-being services in-house cafeteria hybrid working model #J-18808-Ljbffr
