Job DescriptionWho will you be working with?You will work for Annax, a Wabtec business unit specialized in passenger information systems for long and short distance trains, trams and subways. There is a growing development team in Piossasco, dedicated to strengthening the portfolio of tram and commuter train projects collaborating closely with other teams in Switzerland and China.How will you make a difference?As a Software Development Technical Team Leader, you will be responsible for planning, coordination and technical guidance of the Software activities distributed over different sites. Additionally, you will be involved in the implementation and configuration of real time audio streaming features, IP network configurations and protocols, devices diagnostics, compatibility to 3rd party devices and cyber security requirements.What will your typical day look like?Coordinate and technical support of a team involved in multiple projects (not hierarchical management)Define tasks and work packagesConfiguration and implementation of features in the context of a projectDesign module and framework extensionsDevelop,
test and document your codeConfigure and integrate ANNAX software and Linux servicesAnalyze issues and fix bugsApply cyber security rulesEvaluate and elaborate new technologiesWhat do we want to know about you?Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similarProfessional knowledge of Linux, Embedded Linux, IP networksOther skills: C++, scripting languages (bash, python), Unit Testing, UMLDocumentation with doxygen, sphinx and plantumlAdministration of code with git, gitlabProfessional EnglishWorks well independentlyExcited about distributed systems and having fun with themAvailable to travel occasionallyWhat do we offer?Lavoro da remoto: 2 days per weekTraining and professional development opportunitiesBenefits, including: flexible hours, canteen, welfare platform, accident insurance, tax assistance, and electric car chargingLegal authorization to work in EU is required.
