Android Developer (Remote, EU-based | 12-Month Contract | Italian Speaker | $6,000/month B2 B) Location: Remote (within the EU only) Language: Italian language skill is mandatory for this role Compensation: Up to $6,000/month gross (B2 B setup) Candidates MUST speak Italian for this role About the Role We're looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our remote-first, EU-based team on a 12-month contract.
You'll be a key contributor in delivering intuitive, high-performance Android experiences for our growth partner's mobile users. In this role, you'll work with Kotlin and modern architectural patterns to build new features, improve existing functionality, and shape the mobile app's direction alongside designers, product managers, and fellow engineers. What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain features for a native Android application using Kotlin Work across the full development lifecycle—from design to deployment and experimentation Collaborate with product managers, designers,



and engineers to define and implement features Participate in code reviews and contribute to the evolution of engineering standards Provide input on UX design and help define technical requirements and data tracking Stay current with the latest Android trends, tools, and frameworks Promote a culture of clean code, testing, and shared responsibility What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin Deep understanding of Coroutines and asynchronous programming Hands-on experience with Retrofit , Ok , and REST API integrations Strong skills in Dependency Injection , particularly with Dagger2 Familiarity with modern architectures like MVI and MVP Experience with or strong interest in Jetpack Compose Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and mobile test automation practices Basic working knowledge of Java (minimal Java in the codebase) Comfortable working in Agile environments with a high degree of autonomy Fluent or Native Italian language skills are mandatory Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries Information Technology & Services and Software Development Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Robson Bale by 2x Get notified about new Android Developer jobs in Italy .
