We are looking for a Critical Facilities Maintenance Shift Engineer to drive excellence in our data?centre operations.
/ph3Critical Facilities Maintenance Shift Engineer /h3pYou will plan, manage and implement the delivery of Facilities Maintenance services to our data centres, ensuring operational performance is always maintained to the highest possible standards.
The role involves working a 12?hour continental shift pattern on a 24/7 rotation.
/ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliProvide customer?focused service and maintain high standards of planned preventive and reactive maintenance.
/liliProactively evaluate plant and equipment, suggesting improvements where appropriate.
/liliAccurately record and report maintenance activity to keep the Key Source System updated.
/liliCarry out operational and maintenance activities in a safe and suitable manner.
/liliEnsure timely completion of PPMs and reactive work to SLA deadlines.
/liliAct as the High Voltage Authorized Person, managing the inspection and testing programme.
/liliSupervise all operational and maintenance activities to meet SLA requirements.
/liliSupport the Shift Engineering Teams to ensure correct operation of critical services.
/liliObtain site sign?off for works and accept successful completion, ensuring all RA,

MS and technical sign?off is in place before work commences.
/liliDeliver services to the highest technical standards, minimizing risk and following site and best?practice processes.
/li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulli17th Edition certified or similar electrical qualification.
/liliHND or equivalent in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services).
/liliGood understanding of data?centre cooling solutions and building services.
/liliAuthorized person (LV) or (HV) – preferably.
/liliMembership of relevant institutes (IET, BIFM, CIBSE, etc.).
/liliF?GAS / J11 certification is an advantage.
/liliDemonstrated experience in operating and fault?finding complex ME systems (transformers, LV, generators, UPS, electrical distribution, BMS, air?conditioning, fire suppression).
/liliExperience in facilities, operations or engineering within a data?centre critical environment.
/liliKnowledge of engineering operations in business?critical environments and a commitment to safety.
/liliExperience creating SOP and EOP documentation and related processes.
/liliInitiative, analytical mindset and willingness to ask appropriate questions.
/liliFull driving licence valid for use in the UK.
/liliExcellent communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
/liliFamiliarity with BS****:**** security checks is required.
