Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Global Sales ManagerYour Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Global Projects Sales Manager to take commercial ownership of qualified global project opportunities from request for quotation through contract award within Business Line Motors & Generators. You will lead the preparation of technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals, coordinating customers, EPCs, OEMs, ABB Sales Units, factories, engineering, legal and global account teams.You will play a key role in converting qualified opportunities into profitable orders across industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, mining, power generation and water. The role combines hands-on quotation work, cross-functional bid coordination and direct customer interaction.You will be mainly accountable for:Validate,



qualify and prioritize global project opportunities together with Industry Sales Managers, Global Account Managers and Local Sales Units, and agree the pursuit owner and bid plan.Build and lead project capture and bid teams for strategically important global projects.Take commercial ownership of qualified project pursuits from RFQ through quotation, clarification, negotiation, internal approval and order acquisition to reach Business Line sales targets.Analyze project specifications, scope and commercial requirements and coordinate solution selection, technical compliance, pricing, delivery schedules and commercial alignment across ABB organizations.Manage project-specific relationships and lead technical-commercial clarifications with end users, EPCs and OEMs.Lead customer negotiations and document agreed scope, assumptions, exclusions and commercial commitments.Maintain accurate opportunity status, quotation milestones, pipelines and forecast
