About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced Music Producers, Audio Engineers, and Mixing Engineers to evaluate generative music AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab.
You'll assess AI-generated music, lyrics, vocals, and production quality across a wide range of genres while working in Italian and English .
Responsibilities
Compare AI-generated songs based on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality .
Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics .
Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
Provide structured evaluations to help improve generative music AI systems .
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Music Producer, Audio Engineer, or Mixing Engineer.
Native or near-native Italian proficiency.
Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English .




Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
Preferred Qualifications
Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition .
Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work .
Broad familiarity with contemporary Italian genres, sub-genres, and artists .
Experience with AI evaluation or data annotation is a plus.
Compensation
Competitive compensation of $20–$36/hour.
Hourly contract engagement.
Fully remote opportunity.
Flexible work arrangement based on project requirements.
Project duration of up to 6 months .
Most experts work around 20 hours per week , with no cap.
If the pay structure changes to per-task, the effective hourly rate will remain the same . xykwogc
