Based in Bologna, Italy, dev Dept was founded in **** with the commitment to deliver easy-to-use CAD software components to the engineering industry. The development team consists of a unique mix of programmers, mathematicians, and engineers. dev Dept's software components power nearly **** unique applications running on millions of computers worldwide. They are used in a wide range of industries including CAD/CAM/CAE and AM, scanning and metrology, medical, dental, BIM, construction, mining, and other large capital asset industries.
Customers include TRUMPF, Siemens, Amada, Porsche, Honda, Boeing, Rolls-Royce, CLAAS, Samsung, Mitutoyo, Komatsu, and Hexagon. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a 3 D Graphics Software Developer for our Bologna office. The position Maintaining and extending our CAD control (graphics kernel), employed in industries including: aerospace, manufacturing, construction, mining, health care. You will be working in Microsoft Visual Studio, using issue-tracking and requirements management tools, and continuous-integration systems.
Your responsibilities
Open GL/Direct X abstraction layer Zoom/Pan/Rotate and navigation Lighting and shadows Reflection Materials Environment mapping Texture mapping Scene graph Animation Your profile Knowledge of C# and the (3+ years' experience)
Good knowledge of Direct X and Open GL libraries Good knowledge of computational geometry algorithms and 3 D graphics Software architecture for large projects Self-motivated and flexible team player Very good knowledge of the English language CAD experience would be an advantage What you can expect from us At dev Dept you will find a friendly working atmosphere in a young and international team.
