We are looking for a Software Architect / Senior .NET Developer to join a technology project for a client based in Milan . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise software architecture, .NET development, system integration, payment solutions, and DevOps automation .

The role combines hands-on technical expertise with architectural design and technical coordination , particularly during the initial phases of the project

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable software solutions .

- Design the architecture and technical solutions for integrating digital payment methods , including:

- POS payments

- Bank transfers

- Online/e-commerce payments

- Design and develop enterprise applications using C#, .NET 6 and Angular .

- Contribute to the evolution and modernization of the client's software architecture and development processes .

- Work closely with the client's Technical Management and IT teams to improve development methodologies and source code management .

- Define and implement build, release and deployment automation , reducing manual activities and improving development efficiency.

- Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD processes , including build and release pipelines.

- Support the definition of technical standards,

development practices and architectural guidelines.

- Provide technical coordination and guidance to the development team , particularly during the initial project phases.

- Participate in architectural decisions and evaluate appropriate technologies and integration approaches.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure the quality, scalability and maintainability of the solutions delivered.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong experience with C# and .NET 6 .

- Good knowledge of recent versions of the .NET platform .

- Strong experience with Angular ; experience with Angular 21 is preferred.

- Proven experience in software architecture and technical solution design .

- Experience with enterprise application development .

- Experience designing and implementing system/API integrations .

- Experience with digital payment integrations such as POS, bank transfers and online payments.

- Strong skills in technical analysis and requirements translation .

- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD .

- Experience automating build, release and deployment processes .

- Good understanding of source code management and Git-based workflows .

- Ability to make and support architectural and technical decisions .
