Our client operates in the space technology sector, working on satellite systems and mission-critical engineering projects that require advanced expertise in spacecraft control, simulation, and verification.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Space Quality Assurance Engineers with strong knowledge of ECSS-Q standards to support quality and product assurance activities on satellite or spacecraft projects. This role is suited for someone with hands-on experience in space project QA, technical documentation, process compliance, supplier follow-up, reviews, audits, and non-conformance management.
The ideal candidate has worked in the space or aerospace industry and understands how ECSS-based quality requirements are applied across engineering, manufacturing, testing,

and delivery.
CONTRACT: Contractor Agreement
COMMITMENT: Full-time (multi-year)
LOCATIONS: ONSITE Friedrichshafen, Germany; Relocation support
NOTES: EU passport needed; English fluency is required; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support quality assurance and product assurance activities for satellite or spacecraft projects
- Ensure project processes and deliverables comply with ECSS-Q requirements
- Review technical documentation, quality records, test documentation, and project deliverables
- Support design reviews, manufacturing reviews, test readiness reviews, and acceptance reviews
- Monitor non-conformances, corrective actions, deviations, waivers, and quality risks
- Participate in internal or supplier audits and follow up on action items
- Work with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management teams
- Support supplier quality activities and review supplier doc
