We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Italy and contribute to the next generation of innovative lighting solutions.Your responsibilitiesDesign and develop electronic hardware architectures for automotive lighting systemsDevelop LED driver circuits, LED PCBAs, headlamp control modules, and power management solutions (SMPS, DC/DC converters, linear regulators)Create electrical schematics, select automotive-grade components, and prepare hardware documentation including eBOMsPerform circuit simulation, worst-case analysis, and tolerance analysisDefine PCB placement, routing, and stack-up requirements and support PCB layout activities using Altium DesignerReview PCB layouts regarding electrical robustness, EMC compliance, thermal performance, and manufacturabilitySupport hardware testing, validation, debugging, and root-cause analysisCollaborate with mechanical, optical, and software engineering teams for system integrationSupport automotive communication interfaces such as CAN and LINContribute to DFMEA, test planning, design rules,

and quality documentationMaintain hardware documentation according to automotive and internal standards Your profileBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related fieldExperience in hardware design within automotive or industrial electronicsStrong knowledge of power electronics, LED driver circuits, and mixed-signal designExperience with circuit simulation tools (PSpice, LTSpice, Matlab, or equivalent)Proficiency in Altium Designer and PCB design principlesUnderstanding of EMC requirements and automotive communication systemsStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skillsHands-on mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teamsGood communication skills in Italian and EnglishLanguagesItalian and EnglishWhat we offerPermanent employmentA collaborative team of highly motivated and qualified colleaguesFlexible working hours to support work-life balanceIndividu
