Description
Wood is looking for a newly Machinery & Package Engineer- Graduate, to join its Projects business line focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

Responsibilities
The key objectives for this role are:
- Supporting engineering disciplines with preliminary information:
- pre-selection of equipment and evaluation of their performances
- preliminary size estimate of equipment
- preliminary utilities consumption estimate
- Preparation of equipment/package material requisition and mechanical data sheets, for enquiry
- Technical evaluations and conditioning of Supplier's quotations:
- review and check vendor's proposal for compliance with all specifications and requirements
- prepare list of questions/clarifications to vendors
- attend technical clarification meeting(s) with potential vendor(s) and issue notes of meeting
- prepare bid tabulation and technical ev
