Senior Tax Consultant at Kairos
Position Overview: Kairos Accounting, a progressive and client-focused firm, is seeking a seasoned and analytical Senior Tax Consultant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice, planning strategies, and compliance services to a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate the complexities of tax law and optimize their financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for clients, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
- Client Consultation: Provide comprehensive tax advice tailored to clients' specific financial situations, goals, and needs.
- Tax Return Preparation: Review and prepare complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
- Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of new tax legislation and regulations; conduct thorough research to support tax planning and compliance activities.
- Audit Support: Represent clients and provide support during tax audits,



including preparing documentation and negotiating with tax authorities.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior tax staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications and Skills:
- CPA certification or Master's degree in Taxation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax consulting, with a proven track record of providing high-quality tax services.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on client service.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
