About the job:

General Ledger and Accounts Payable Accountant, also supporting management control and cost monitoring activities.

The position is intended for a junior professional with approximately 2 years of experience in accounting and administration, able to work independently on recurring activities and eager to grow in a dynamic and international environment.

Main Responsibilities
- Supplier onboarding and approval.
- Review of contractual documentation and the accounts payable cycle.
- Recording, checking and payment of invoices.
- Account reconciliations and review of outstanding items.
- Processing of travel expenses.
- Support for periodic and year-end closings.




- Monitoring of actual costs versus budget and variance analysis.
- Participation in the annual cost budgeting process.
- Maintenance of VAT and fixed asset registers.
- Accounts receivable invoicing and related controls.
- Review and accounting of fees relating to services provided to and received from Head Office, ensuring accuracy, correct accounting allocation and compliance with deadlines.
- Support with tax compliance and tax payments, as well as preparation of documentation required for reviews, audits and internal controls.

What are we looking for?

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field, preferably or equivalent qualifications:
- Economics and Commerce.
- Business Administration.
- Economics and Business Management.
- Economics, Banking and Insurance.

Professional Experience
- Approximately 2 years of experience in general accounting, accounts payable
