Our client, a leading industrial gases and chemicals company, is seeking a Turnaround Planner (Control Valves) to join their team. As a Turnaround Planner (Control Valves), you will be part of the Turnaround and Maintenance team supporting operations, engineering, and maintenance groups. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Port Arthur, TX
Pay Range: $51 - 53/hr
What’s the Job?

- Develop control valve work scopes and create detailed work packages for turnaround and maintenance activities.
- Perform field walks, valve surveys, and site verifications to ensure accurate planning and execution.
- Create and maintain planning activities in Cleopatra, including manpower, durations, task sequencing, and discipline assignments.
- Coordinate materials,
review BOMs, expedite parts procurement, and ensure required equipment is available for valve overhauls.
- Support turnaround execution through schedule updates, QA/QC reviews, closeout documentation, and risk management activities.
What’s Needed?

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Control Valve Planner and 5+ years of Control Valve Technician maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, valve specifications, location plans, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Experience developing and reviewing work packages, test packages, preventive maintenance plans, and QA/QC documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook), SAP, Primavera P6, and computerized planning systems.
- Strong understanding of control valve construction, maintenance processes, turnaround planning, and safety requirements in an industrial environment.
