Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate new opportunities, and secure profitable growth within the Motion Service division, focusing on Drives and primarily targeting End Users in Liguria, Emilia and Marche regions.
You will focus on increasing penetration of the Installed Base (IB) and promoting the full Service portfolio for Drives, including spare parts, service agreements, maintenance, training, digital , energy efficiency, and modernization solutions.
- Penetrating the Installed Base by promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions




- Generating service sales leads and developing new business opportunities through market analysis and customer engagement
- Building and maintaining long‑term relationships with End User customers
- Preparing, reviewing, and executing sales plans, including proposing recovery actions when needed
- Applying channel strategies and supporting pricing definition
- Acting as a promoter of ABB's Service portfolio during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, customer meetings, conferences)
- Ensuring a prompt and effective response to customer needs and issues

Qualifications for the role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial environments or automation
- Availability for frequent business travel, including training and customer visits, mainly across Liguria, Emilia and Marche regions
- Strong ability to establish strong customer relationships and foster long‑term partnerships
- Applies structured sales methodologi
