pbRole: /bAutomation Tester (Python) /ppbDuration : /b12 months + possible extension /ppbLocation : /b100% Remote from Italy /ppbLanguage needed: /bEnglish /ppbP.Iva / B2B Contract / Freelance / Contract /b /ppbr/ppbJD /b /ppWe are looking for a Automation Test Engineer to join the QA team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions. /ppThe ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, Python, and software testing principles, with the ability to develop and maintain automated test suites using Robot Framework. You will work closely with development and QA teams within an Agile environment, helping to improve test coverage, quality, and automation efficiency. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliDesign, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework. /liliDevelop and maintain custom Robot Framework libraries and automation scripts. /liliAnalyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and automated test cases. /liliIdentify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers and other QA team members to resolve issues. /liliContribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing strategies, and automation frameworks. /liliPerform API testing and validate REST APIs, JSON payloads, and HTTP requests/responses.



/liliIntegrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines. /liliWork with Git and established version-control workflows. /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. /liliSupport the expansion of automated testing coverage and promote best practices across the QA team. /li /ulpbr/ppbSkills /b /ppbr/ppMust have /pulliMinimum 5 years of professional experience in software testing, with significant exposure to test automation. /liliExperience with software development or test automation. /liliKnowledge of software testing principles and Agile development methodologies. /liliExperience with or willingness to work with Robot Framework. /liliGood knowledge of Python, including scripting and automation concepts, to develop and maintain Robot Framework test suites and custom libraries. /liliFamiliarity with Git and version control workflows. /liliBasic knowledge of API testing (REST, JSON, HTTP) and tools such as Postman or equivalent. /liliBasic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI or similar). /liliExperience working with test automation frameworks or the willingness to learn them. /li /ulpbr/ppNice to have /pulliExperience with Tosca or other no-code/low-code test automation tools is considered a strong advantage. /li /ulpbr/p
