ppCoho Integrated Solutions is seeking a qualified Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) to support the Department of the Air Force Family Advocacy Program in Aviano, Pordenone, Italy. The FAIS serves as a clinical provider and prevention specialist responsible for supporting intervention and secondary prevention efforts related to domestic abuse, child maltreatment, problematic sexual behavior in children and youth, and family wellness. The FAIS may augment the services of the Family Advocacy Treatment Manager and is expected to perform the applicable clinical and prevention responsibilities associated with the FATM role. /ph3Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): /h3ulliProvide clinical intervention, counseling, assessment, and case management services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. /liliSupport assessment and treatment of domestic abuse and child maltreatment cases. /liliConduct psychosocial, safety, risk, needs, and other clinical assessments as appropriate. /liliDevelop and monitor individualized treatment and safety plans. /liliProvide psychotherapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, advocacy, and clinical casework. /liliProvide secondary prevention services addressing domestic abuse, child maltreatment, and problematic sexual behavior in children and youth. /liliDeliver New Leader Orientation and annual training to commanders, first sergeants, organizational leadership, and key agencies. /liliServe as a prevention facilitator and installation FAP representative for the Community Action Team and other community organizations. /liliDevelop, promote, and implement FAP prevention programs under the direction and approval of the FAP Manager. /liliDevelop social marketing and outreach strategies to increase awareness of family maltreatment prevention resources. /liliIdentify family violence trends and collaborate with FAP personnel and community organizations to target prevention efforts. /liliMaintain accurate documentation of prevention activities and support required program reporting. /li /ulh3Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements: /h3ulliClearance: Must be eligible for and maintain required privileging within the Military Treatment Facility.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination in accordance with applicable contract and government requirements. /liliEducation, Licensure, and Certifications: Must be a U.S.-licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). bLCSW: /b Master's degree from a CSWE-accredited school. bLMFT: /b Master's degree from a COAMFTE-accredited Marriage and Family Therapy program, or an appropriately qualifying allied mental health degree with equivalent Marriage and Family Therapy study. Must maintain the applicable unrestricted professional license. Must meet all applicable clinical privileging requirements. /liliBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required. /liliExperience: LCSW: Two years of post-MSW experience within the last three years in a clinical/treatment setting. LMFT: Two years of experience within the last two years as a marriage and family counselor. Two years of full-time post-master's clinical counseling experience serving individuals who are abusive or abused. Demonstrated group therapy facilitation or co-leadership experience. Experience working with children, families, groups, professionals, and community agencies. /liliPhysical Requirements: Ability to travel within the assigned area for outreach, prevention, and community activities.
