The Role we are looking for a Vehicle Motion Component Development Project Engineer to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO). You will hierarchically report to e Head of Vehicle Motion Energy Management. You will be responsible for coordinating the activities aimed at the PEP definition of Vehicle Motion component development in respect of budget, timing, technical requirement, and validation planning. /p ul liCoordinate the development of Vehicle Motion / Powertrain components and systems throughout the entire product development lifecycle. /li liLead cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project targets are achieved in terms of quality, cost, timing, and performance. /li liManage Product Development Process (PEP) activities, ensuring compliance with project milestones and company standards. /li liMonitor and control project timing, engineering releases, and component delivery plans. /li liDefine and track system budgets, investments, component costs, weight targets, and expenditure. /li liPlan and coordinate validation activities, including FMEA, DVP, bench testing, and vehicle-level testing. /li liManage resource allocation and prioritization across multiple projects and vehicle programs. /li liDrive issue resolution and change management activities, ensuring timely closure of technical concerns. /li liOversee BOM management, cost optimization initiatives, and support vehicle build and development phases.
/li liPrepare project status reports and present progress, risks, costs, and technical updates to management and key stakeholders. /li /ul h3About You /h3 ul liDegree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering /li liAt least 4/5 years of experience in automotive OEM /li liProject management experience in high-performance teams /li liOffice package excellent knowledge /li liMatlab knowledge as a plus /li liTechnical knowledge experience of engine component development from concept through to production covering design, test production. /li liExperience of leading and delivering multiple large (multi million euros budget) engine projects /li liSystems design and development knowledge /li liExperience in component release management and problem solving /li liFluent English. Italian and German will be considered a plus /li liA positive, proactive attitude with a high level of self-motivation to deliver excellence /li liAn engaging mind, open to new problems outside their normal comfort zone. /li liA willingness to engage in debate and discussion. /li liEmpathy /li liAbility to communicate clearly with design and development groups /li liGood team building skills /li liWell organised and delivery focused approach /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pbSalary Vantaggi /b /p ul liApplicable national collective bargaining agreement:
