With an extensive international portfolio spanning major stadiums, arenas, and mixed-use developments, the business provides end-to-end project leadership, strategic advisory, and delivery services to public and private sector clients.Reporting to the Project Executive, the Senior Project Director will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and delivery of a landmark sports stadium development in Rome, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, programme, and stakeholder satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesOverall Project Leadership & GovernanceLead the day-to-day delivery of the stadium project, providing strategic direction, governance, and oversight across all project stages from design development through construction and handover.Team Leadership & ManagementDirectly manage and mentor the project delivery team,



including Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Controls, and support staff, ensuring clear roles, accountability, and high performance.Client & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary senior interface with the client, authorities, consultants, and key stakeholders, managing relationships, expectations, and decision-making on a complex, high-profile development.Programme, Cost & Risk ControlOversee project controls including programme, budget, risk, and reporting, ensuring timely identification and mitigation of risks while maintaining alignment with project objectives.Quality, Compliance & Delivery ExcellenceEnsure the project is delivered in accordance with contractual obligations, Italian regulations, and international best practice for major sports venues, driving a culture of excellence, safety, and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle.RequirementsMust be fluent in both English and ItalianMust have 10 + years’ experience in a similar role delivery high-value sports/entertainment venuesMust be based within a commutable distance of RomeMust have relevant degree level qualificationsBenefits115,000 - 130,000 + Package
