Construction Manager | Utility-Scale Solar PV Location: Sicily, ItalyProject: 100–200 MWp Solar PV + HV SubstationI’m currently working with an international renewable energy developer on an exciting 100–200 MWp utility-scale Solar PV project in Sicily, and we’re looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join the project team.This is an owner’s representative role, working on-site throughout the construction phase and overseeing delivery by third-party EPC contractors.The Project100–200 MWp utility-scale Solar PV plantHV grid-connection substationEnvironmental mitigation worksFull EPC delivery modelSicily, ItalyPermanent position | Daily on-site presenceThe RoleYou’ll act as the owner’s primary on-site representative, monitoring construction progress and ensuring the project is delivered safely, to the required quality standards, on schedule and in line with contractual requirements.You’ll work closely with EPC contractors, subcontractors, independent engineers,
grid stakeholders and internal project teams across:Civil & earthworksPV installation and electrical BoPMV/HV cabling and substation worksGrid connectionEnvironmental mitigationCommissioningWhat We’re Looking For3–5 years’ experience in construction management, owner’s representation or site supervisionUtility-scale Solar PV experience highly desirableBackground in renewables, power infrastructure or large-scale industrial constructionGood understanding of PV construction phases and site interfacesAbility xlwpduy to read engineering drawings, SLDs, technical specifications and project schedulesStrong site judgement, communication and problem-solving skillsA practical, proactive and commercially aware approachEngineering, Energy, Construction Management or relevant technical degreeEnglish requiredValid driving licence and willingness to be site-basedThis is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a major renewable energy project and play a key role in its successful delivery.
