ph3Duties /h3ulliSets up cafeteria lines, steam-tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter, and beverages; replenishes as necessary. /liliServes food by order and proper proportion. Break down and cleans tables and area when meal is finished and returns dishes and food to the kitchen area. /liliAssembles or toss fresh fruit and green salads in quantity using prepared dressings and portions into standard serving sizes. Makes cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients. /liliSeparates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, and silverware. Loads dishwashers. Stores cleaned dishes, glasses and silverware. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors. /liliCleans exhaust vents, hoods, windows, ceilings, and walls. Cleans and sanitizes trash cans; disposes of trash. May unload and store food from delivery trucks. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliDirect Deposit and Social Security Card is required. /liliMeet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. /liliA one-year probationary period may be required. /liliMust be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and Special MWR events. /liliMust be willing and able to lift, carry, push, pull items up to 40 lbs. /liliMust be willing and able to stand and walk on a continuous basis. /liliMust have have the physical ability to stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend. /liliMust be able to work on ladders and use powered cleaning equipment. /liliSatisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pResumes must be two pages (or less). /ppResumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. /ppClaimed experience must be verifiable through your resume. The local commuting area defined as within 100 km (60 miles) of Vicenza, Italy.
