This is an operator role: you will be accountable for audit‑ready books, disciplined controls, and compliant reporting across crypto and fiat activity, working closely with leadership. Some operational details will be shared later in the process (under NDA where required). /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn the monthly/quarterly/year‑end close across entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. /li liMaintain the general ledger: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, FX revaluation, and supporting schedules. /li liRun a standard close calendar and checklist; drive the close to completion with clear deadlines and accountability. /li liMaintain a monthly exceptions queue and clear it consistently. /li liKeep documentation audit‑ready by default. /li /ul h3Multi‑Entity Accounting Intercompany /h3 ul liOwn bookkeeping across all entities; ensure consistent policies, coding, and documentation standards. /li liMaintain clean intercompany operations: invoicing, intercompany reconciliations, and balances. /li liSupport arm‑s‑length and related‑party hygiene with clear narratives and support. /li /ul h3Crypto Accounting Reconciliation (Must Be Strong) /h3 ul liLead end‑to‑end crypto transaction accounting across wallets, exchanges, custodians, networks, and tokens. /li liEnsure crypto balances are reconciled and supported with strong audit trails. /li liMaintain clear classification rules for crypto flows (e.g., revenue vs other income, custody transfers, gas/fees, staking/yield, airdrops, liquidity provision). /li liMaintain schedules for realized vs unrealized gains/losses and cost basis/lots where needed for reporting. /li /ul h3Controls,



Compliance Governance /h3 ul liImplement and maintain finance controls appropriate for a lean team. /li liMaintain a compliance calendar and ensure recurring obligations are tracked and supported. /li liCoordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax providers, and legal counsel. /li /ul h3Reporting Leadership Support /h3 ul liDeliver clear, management‑ready reporting: PL, balance sheet, cash flow, and concise variance narratives. /li liProduce burn reporting and spend insights (top vendors, drivers, and recommendations for savings). /li liSupport budgeting and forecasting cadence (annual budget + rolling forecast; budget vs actual with variance explanations). /li /ul h3Treasury Cash Visibility /h3 ul liMaintain visibility across fiat accounts and crypto holdings; support payment operations with strong authorization and recordkeeping. /li liProduce regular cash/treasury reporting (balances, upcoming obligations, runway snapshot, operational risk flags). /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li6+ years in accounting/controllership/finance operations roles, with end‑to‑end ownership of close and reporting. /li liPrior experience in web3/crypto companies, exchanges, or crypto‑heavy operations – mandatory. /li liStrong technical accounting foundation (IFRS/GAAP-level knowledge relevant to the role). /li liExperience with multi‑entity accounting and operating across multiple jurisdictions. /li liCrypto‑native accounting experience: wallets, exchanges, reconciliation, audit trails, and crypto‑aware controls. /li liStrong documentation discipline and high integrity (audit‑ready by default). /li liComfortable operating in a lean, high‑ownership environment. /li liExcellent written communication; able to explain financial issues clearly to non‑finance stakeholders. /li /ul h3Required Hands‑on Experience /h3 ul liXero (core accounting) – mandatory. /li liCryptio (crypto accounting / reconciliation) – mandatory. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liBookkeeping and compliance experience across US, SVG, Panama, and UAE.
