SMS group S.p.A. is an Italian company wich can count more than 500 employees in three different location of Tarcento (Udine), San Donato Milanese (Milan) and Genoa, with its wide technical expertise, is specialized in the production of innovative and turn-key plants, such as hot and cold rolling mills for flat products, process lines, reheating furnaces and heat treatment lines, rolling mills for long products, meltshops and continuous casting machines.Manager Sales & Operations Direct Service Flat ProductsYOU ACT• Develop technical and commercial proposals for spare parts and upgrading/modernization solutions for flat product rolling (hot/cold) • Identify required components, equipment, and systems using customer technical documentation and internal engineering support • Prepare spare parts packages for initial supply in collaboration with product-specific technical departments • Evaluate costs in cooperation with purchasing, costing,



and supplier management teams • Draft technical specifications and detailed commercial quotations • Oversee and coordinate order execution, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy • Collect and analyze project information, aligning after-sales activities with contractual milestones • Maintain accurate records of quotations and orders within ERP systems • Provide excellent customer service, handling technical inquiries and support needsYOU KNOW• Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma (preferred specializations: Mechanical) • Previous experience in technical-commercial back-office roles within mechanical engineering companies or steel production plant environments • Mandatory: Fluent English language skills (written and spoken) • Preferred: Proficiency in an additional language • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Experience of SAP S/4HANA is considered a plus WE CONVINCEThe gross annual salary for the position will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, such as the skills required, the responsibilities involved, the level of autonomy, and the complexity of the role.
