ph3L2 IT Support Engineer /h3 pLocation: Rome, Italy /p pExperience: 3–5 years /p h3Role Overview /h3 pWe are looking for an L2 IT Support Engineer to provide onsite IT and data center support at the Italian location. The ideal candidate should have good hands‑on experience with Windows environments along with a basic understanding of VMware/ESXi, server troubleshooting, data center operations, and cabling /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide onsite L2 IT support and basic troubleshooting for servers and IT infrastructure. /li liTroubleshoot Windows-related issues and perform basic system checks. /li liHave basic knowledge of VMware ESXi and VMware technologies . /li liPerform basic troubleshooting when a server or system is down, including checking connections and interfaces. /li liPerform basic data center management activities. /li liHandle and track network/server cabling and identify cable connections between equipment. /li liAssist with connecting and replacing network/server interfaces as required. /li liPerform basic hardware and connectivity troubleshooting. /li liCoordinate with remote teams and local site contacts for issue resolution.
/li liFollow standard troubleshooting procedures and /li /ul h3Required Skills Experience /h3 ul liExperience in L2 IT Support / Data Center Support . /li liGood knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting. /li liBasic knowledge of VMware ESXi and VMware technologies . /li liBasic understanding of server infrastructure and troubleshooting . /li liBasic knowledge of data center operations and management . /li liBasic understanding of network/server cabling and cable tracking . /li liAbility to troubleshoot basic connectivity and hardware issues . /li liGood communication and coordination skills. /li liAbility to work independently at the customer site. /li /ul h3Preferred Profile /h3 ul liPrevious experience working in a data center environment . /li liExperience supporting servers, VMware/ESXi, and Windows environments . /li liCandidates with hands‑on exposure to onsite infrastructure support are preferred. /li liVMware/ESXi expertise is not required at an expert level ; basic practical knowledge is sufficient /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
