JOB DESCRIPTION To support its growth and strengthen its in-house legal team, Aether Financial Services is seeking a Legal Officer (2–5 years’ experience) on a permanent contract. You will also work closely with the operational teams and will be involved in addressing any legal issues arising during the set-up and throughout the execution of financial transactions. In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:Oversee the day-to-day legal management of Aether Financial Services’ operations, liaising with internal stakeholders (operational teams, management) and external parties (banks, law firms, investors, clients),Review, analyse, draft and negotiate contracts and documents relating to the various transactions in which Aether Financial Services acts as an agent (financing and security documents), Manage and monitor the processes relating to general meetings of holders of financial instruments, Contribute to discussions on legal and regulatory matters relating to Aether Financial Services’ activities; you will monitor legal and regulatory developments in these areas and keep your line manager informed of your findings and any issues you have identified,Handle corporate matters for Aether Financial Services (legal secretariat, etc.); Get involved inand contribute to more cross-functional or related projects.This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and is subject to change depending on the activities of Aether.YOUR PROFILEExpertiseYou hold a master’s degree (BAC + 5)
in banking and/or financial law,at least 2 years’ experience in specialist law firms (LBO, infrastructure or structured finance, capital markets), banks (agency), advisory firms (corporate finance, debt advisory) or investment firms (debt funds),Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Very good writing skills in French,Excellent command of English; professional experienceworking in English would be an advantage,Proficiency in another language would also be an advantage.Interpersonal skillsProactive, independent and able to take the initiative,Customer relations,Confidentiality,Cross-functional approach,Diligence and curiosity,TeamworkWHY JOINING US?
