/p pAs the business continues to expand, the Finance team is looking for a Financial accountant to support accounting operations and ensure compliance with Italian tax and financial regulations.
/p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: /h3 ulliManage daily accounting transactions in accordance with Italian accounting standards and internal policies.
/li liSupport the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
/li liMonitor and assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely reconciliation and issue resolution.
/li liPrepare and coordinate indirect and direct tax compliance activities, including VAT returns, withholding tax obligations, and statutory filings.
/li liLiaise with external accountants, tax consultants, and auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
/li liProvide support during tax inspections and statutory audits by gathering and organising the required documentation.
/li liAssist with intercompany accounting activities and contribute to transfer pricing documentation where required.
/li liMaintain accurate accounting records and ensure financial documentation is properly archived.
/li liMonitor changes in tax legislation and support the implementation of regulatory updates.
/li liIdentify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and improve operational efficiency.
/li liAct as a reliable point of contact for finance-related queries from internal departments.
/li /ul h3REQUIREMENTS: /h3 ulliDegree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
/li liApproximately 3-5 years of experience in accounting, tax, or corporate finance.
/li liFamiliarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
/li liStrong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
/li liAbility to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
/li liComfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
/li liHigh level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
/li liFluent English, both written and spoken.
