It also continues Bata's long tradition of being sensitive to cultural and national differences and enables it to function proudly as an inclusive company in every country in which it operates.DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:The Global Merchandiser Intern will support the Global Merchandising Team in the activities related to seasonal Line Plan creation, management of Line Review meetings, Seasonal Planning and in-season Planning with partners around the world, to achieve merchandising financial targets: Turnover, Gross Margin and Stock Turns.The resource will have the opportunity to collaborate in both analytical,
operational and tactical tasks across different seasonal milestones.
The tasks include but are not limited to data preparation and analysis, support data analytics, preparation of showrooms, etc.KEY CHALLENGES:Line PlanSupport in monitoring data accuracy and timely input by different global stakeholders and countriesSupport in coordinating sample requests for global merchandising showroomSupport in sorting and organisation of showrooms for internal meetings and seasonal Line ReviewsSeasonal PlanningSupport in the creation of data sets for hindsight analysis, category planning and assortment planningAssist in the consolidation of assortment plans to drive global resultsCORE COMPETENCIES:University xysqume in progress – preferably in Economics and related fieldsGood knowledge of ExcelAnalytical skillsProduct and fashion orientedBe able to adapt quickly to a dynamic and lively environmentPlans & organises effectivelyKnows how to deal with people and influence them positivelyProblem solving skillsPredisposition to work in a teamLANGUAGES:ItalianVery good knowledge of EnglishOther language is a plusPACKAGE & BENEFITS:Monthly allowance: € 600,00Free CanteenFlexible working hoursPossibility of working in Lavoro da remoto for part of the week after an initial on-site training periodDiscounts on BATA and AW LAB productsLOCATION:Limena (PD)
