About the role.

EU Policy Insight is looking for a Research Coordinator (Volunteer) to coordinate research and publication activities on EU digital policy.

This opportunity is particularly suitable for PhD candidates and PhD holders with an interest or background in EU law, regulation, economics, political economy, public policy, or related fields.

Responsibilities

Coordinate research projects on EU digital-policy topics.

AI Act regulations, Digital Euro.

Assign research and writing tasks to contributors.

Coordinate deadlines and publication schedules.

Review research drafts and provide feedback.

Support editing and preparation of publications.

Communicate with contributors and report progress to the founder.

Requirements

PhD candidate or PhD holder preferred.

Background in EU law, regulation, economics, political economy, public policy, or a related field.

Knowledge of EU digital policy, such as the AI Act, Digital Services Act, digital euro,



payments regulation, or platform regulation.

Strong research and written English skills.

Good organisational and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Terms

Unpaid volunteer position.

Fully remote and flexible.

No fixed working hours; work is organised around agreed tasks and deadlines.

Written collaboration agreement.

Named authorship credit for published work.

Compensation may be reconsidered if the organisation secures funding.
