As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our presence in the Mobility sector, creating new opportunities across automotive, e-mobility, hydrogen and next-generation transportation technologies.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support the growth of our Mobility business globally. Acting as individual contributor and reporting to the Products & Business Development Director, you will play a key role in identifying, validating and developing new business opportunities for Fluid-o-Tech technologies, helping define the future direction of our Mobility portfolio beyond our established Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) business. Working in close collaboration with teams across Europe, the US and Asia, you will act as the bridge between market needs, customer requirements and technology development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across automotive, e-mobility, hydrogen, thermal management and adjacent mobility markets.
- Define and continuously update the strategic opportunity roadmap for the Mobility segment.
- Explore applications for Fluid-o-Tech technologies, including pumps, valves, sensors and integrated fluidic systems.
- Build relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, engineering partners and key industry stakeholders.
- Support commercial discussions and strategic customer development initiatives globally.
- Translate market trends, customer needs and application requirements into business cases and product opportunities.
- Coordinate feasibility assessments with Engineering, Product Management and Operations teams.
- Evaluate opportunities based on market attractiveness, strategic fit, profitability and technical feasibility.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics and emerging technologies shaping the future of mobility.
- Contribute to the definition of value propositions and go-to-market strategies for new applications.
Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly valued:
- E-mobility and EV infrastructure
- Battery thermal management
- Pumps, valves, sensors or fluidic technologies
- SCR and emissions control systems
- ADAS and autonomous vehicle-related applications
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electrical or Energy Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Product Management, Technical Sales, Application Engineering or Strategic Marketing within automotive, mobility or industrial technology sectors.
- Proven track record in developing new business opportunities and building strategic customer relationships.
- Ability to understand complex technical solutions and translate them into customer value propositions.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity and passion for innovation.
- Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
- Fluent English and availability for international travel.
