Job Description
Taylor by Synergos Srl, on behalf of a local subsidiary of a leading European company in the oil & gas and industrial plant sector operating in more than 30 countries and with 3500 employees worldwide, is looking for: HSE (health safety and environment) MANAGER (Ref. RM-1D18E). The role holder reports directly to the MANAGING DIRECTOR and functionally to the projects/construction sites TECHNICAL DIRECTORATE and the GROUP QHSE MANAGER. By establishing relationships with customer representatives, construction management, suppliers, subcontractors, public and private entities the HSE MANAGER has the task of promoting a sustainable HSE culture in order to guarantee the safety and health of the employees and collaborators at the company offices and at construction sites in Europe and in the Mediterranean. The activities are carried out in the collaboration with approx. fifteen direct internal collaborators.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities
- Responsible for Health and Safety on the Work Place (RSPP)
pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent updates.
- Proposal, development, implementation and managing of HSE systems and processes for company activities, in accordance with the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. Development of company security system in order to protect the environment and implementation of strategies for sustainable development. Auditing activity with the purpose of determining the company HSE performance.
- Development and implementation of strategies and action plans that ensure sustainable development of the company.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mandatory regulations and standards, as well as any interpretations thereof.
- Identification and assessment of risk factors present in the company and identification of measures for the safety and health of the work environment.
