Careers Network & Cybersecurity Engineer We are seeking a motivated Network & Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Carate Brianza. This position is ideal for a junior-level applicant with a strong interest in both networking and security, or a more experienced professional looking to apply their expertise in a hybrid role. You will be instrumental in managing, securing, and optimizing our complex network infrastructure, spanning on-premises, edge, and cloud environments. This role offers a unique opportunity to build your expertise across both network engineering and cybersecurity, ensuring the resilience, performance, and integrity of our internal systems and customer deployments.
Key responsibilities
Manage, configure, and maintain on-premise, edge, and cloud network infrastructure. Administer and fine-tune firewalls, load balancers, and VPN tunnels to ensure optimal performance and security. Monitor network health, troubleshoot connectivity (TCP/IP, routing, etc.), and resolve issues in a timely manner. Implement and manage network security policies, procedures,
and controls. Oversee the lifecycle of SSL/TLS certificates, including procurement, installation, and renewal. Assist in the management of identity and access management (IAM) solutions and protocols (e.g., OAuth2.0). Collaborate with development and robotics teams to define and implement secure network solutions. Travel to customer sites (up to 15%) for on-site installation and troubleshooting of issues not resolvable remotely. Document network configurations, security standards, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required qualifications
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including the TCP/IP suite, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching. Hands‐on experience with (or strong knowledge of) firewall and load balancing concepts. A demonstrable passion for cybersecurity and a strong desire to grow skills in identity management, secure protocols, and network hardening. Familiarity with or
