Tecnimont is looking for a Construction Engineering Manager to join the Construction Engineering Management Function.
Lead and coordinate Construction Engineering activities for assigned projects
- Manage and supervise Construction Engineers during both Home Office and site execution phases
- Review engineering deliverables and Work Requisitions related to construction activities, ensuring construction requirements are properly addressed
- Prepare and coordinate construction management documentation and technical requirements to be included in construction subcontracts
- Support the definition and evaluation of construction strategies, execution methodologies, temporary construction facilities and heavy lifting activities
- Contribute to the preparation and review of Construction Technical Bid Evaluations and support subcontractor bid analysis and selection activities
- Ensure the application of Company construction methodologies, constructability principles and lessons learned across all project phases
- Provide technical support to Site Managers for the preparation of Construction Execution Plans and project execution strategies
- Support Project Control in the development of construction schedules, planning methodologies and construction manpower estimates
- Interface with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, HSE,
Quality and Project Control teams to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Ensure effective coordination between Home Office and Site organizations, identifying project requirements and supporting execution needs
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives and maintain awareness of industry best practices, methodologies and emerging construction technologies. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related Engineering disciplines
- At least 7 years of experience in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Project Engineering or related roles within international EPC projects
- Proven experience in multidisciplinary industrial projects, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy or Infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of construction planning, constructability, project execution methodologies and construction subcontracting processes;
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and stakeholders in complex project environments
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project execution tools
- Availability for international business trips and temporary assignments abroad according to project requirements. Site construction experience on international projects
- Knowledge of construction planning and project control tools;
Experience in contractor management and subcontract administration activities
- Additional foreign language(s).
Contract Type and Classification Contract type: Permanent Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011) Middle Management, consistent with job requirements and applicable Collective Agreement The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 60.000. The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation premio. Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
