p? bWe're hiring: Principal FPGA Engineer – Communications Test Measurement /b /pp Location: Turin, Italy, or remote within Italy (depending on the selected candidate's location) /ppbr/ppWe are looking for an experienced bPrincipal FPGA Engineer /b to join an international team developing next-generation bcommunications test, monitoring and assurance solutions /b for the telecommunications, cloud, aerospace, defence, railway and industrial sectors. /ppThis is an opportunity to take ownership of the complete FPGA architecture of cutting-edge products and to work on high-performance, multi-gigabit designs in a highly innovative environment. /ppbr/ppbYour responsibilities /b /pp✔ Define and drive end-to-end FPGA architecture. /pp✔ Lead architecture decisions, IP selection, floor-planning strategies and timing closure activities. /pp✔ Act as the main technical reference point for FPGA design and debugging activities. /pp✔ Mentor engineers and support system integration and board bring-up activities. /pp✔ Collaborate closely with global engineering teams. /ppbr/ppbRequired qualifications and experience /b /pp✔ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field. /pp✔ Excellent experience in bFPGA design and architecture /b. /pp✔ Extensive hands-on experience with bVerilog, SystemVerilog and/or VHDL /b. /pp✔ Strong expertise in mbulti-Gbps SerDes, transceivers, PLLs and high-speed Ethernet technologies. /b /pp✔ Experience with optical interfaces and modules (SFP, QSFP). /pp✔ Knowledge of networking protocols, including VLAN, MPLS, VPLS,
VoIP and IPTV. /pp✔ Solid experience with AMD/Xilinx or Altera FPGA platforms. /pp✔ Experience with formal verification methodologies and UVM. /pp✔ Experience with Git and collaborative development environments. /ppbr/ppNice to have /pp➕ Publications or patents related to FPGA design, DSP or high-speed digital systems. /pp➕ Experience with PCIe, DSP systems and high-speed digital board design. /pp➕ Familiarity with Siemens Questa, Aldec Riviera or similar tools. /pp➕ Experience using AI-based tools to support FPGA development activities. /ppbr/pp If you are interested, feel free to contact me directly. /ppbr/pp bSalary expectations /b /ppThe salary range provided is indicative and will be evaluated based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and overall profile.
