pbLead renewable energy consultant- Solar /b /ppbr/ppLeap 29 are excited to be recruiting an experienced bLead Energy Consultant – Solar /b on behalf of a leading international renewable energy consultancy with a strong reputation across the European market. /ppThe company specialises in technical and commercial consultancy across renewable energy, with expertise in utility-scale solar and the wider energy transition. With an established presence across Italy and Europe and continued growth, you will be joining a dynamic international team delivering expert advice to developers, operators, lenders and investors across large-scale solar projects. /ppbr/ppbWhat You Will Be Doing /b /ppYour work will be focused primarily on technical and commercial consultancy services for utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects. You will be advising developers, operators, lenders and investors in the Italian market, as well as supporting projects across other European countries. /ppSpecific activities will include: /pulliBusiness development within the solar sector, building client relationships and helping to win new work. /liliLeading technical and commercial due diligence for utility-scale solar projects and portfolios, acting as Project Director, Project Manager and technical lead where required. /liliAssessing technical and commercial risks that could impact project performance, financial models, project timelines, CAPEX and OPEX, while proposing suitable mitigation measures. /liliReviewing key project areas including grid connection, land agreements, permitting, environmental constraints, project design, construction strategy, operational contracts and project schedules. /liliDelivering bespoke Owner's Engineer services for solar projects. /liliSupporting strategic industry initiatives and contributing to working groups and sector activities. /liliManaging multiple projects while coordinating internal and external resources.



/li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements /b /ppWe are looking for someone who is motivated to take the next step in their renewables consulting career by building on their technical expertise and industry network to become a recognised leader within the solar sector. /ppYou will have a reputation for delivering high-quality consultancy services, building trusted client relationships and combining strong technical knowledge with commercial understanding. /ppThe company recognises that exceptional candidates may bring different strengths and encourages applications from individuals who are passionate about renewable energy and eager to continue developing their expertise. /ppbr/ppbEssential Skills Qualifications /b /pulliDegree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or another relevant technical discipline. /lilib Minimum 8–10 years' experience /b within renewable energy consultancy, with a strong focus on utility scale solar. /liliExtensive experience leading technical due diligence across utility-scale solar projects. /liliStrong understanding of solar project development, grid connection, permitting, environmental considerations and construction processes. /liliExperience reviewing EPC, OM and other renewable energy construction and operation contracts. /liliAbility to assess technical risks and understand their commercial implications across project financing and investment transactions. /liliProven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships and contributing to business development. /liliExcellent consultancy skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines. /liliStrong report writing and communication skills in English. /liliWillingness to travel as required. /liliSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently in a client-focused consulting environment. /li /ulpbr/ppbPreferred /b /pulliOwner's Engineer, construction monitoring or asset management experience within utility-scale solar. /liliExperience working across European solar markets. /li /ulpbr/ppbIf you are interested in this amazing opportunity, please send your CV through to Shannon. /b /pp? /p
