Your Role
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Downstream Processing and Single Use Technologies, you will drive innovation and solve complex bioprocessing challenges for our clients. You will lead hands-on process development, scale-up, and troubleshooting studies, converting raw data into scientific recommendations.
Acting as a technical authority, you will support commercial success through direct customer consultations, strategic partnerships, training programs, and thought leadership activities (webinars, conferences) in collaboration with internal R&D; and marketing teamsKey Responsibilities Act as the primary SME in Downstream Processing and Single Use Technologies, providing expert guidance on both batch and integrated bioprocesses.
Design and execute hands-on process development, scale-up, and implementation activities following self-developed protocols. Process and analyze raw data Lead scale-down studies to support troubleshooting, root cause investigations,
and process optimization. Work closely with clients' technical teams, delivering consultative and hands-on guidance. Engage in and deliver thought leadership activities, including industry conference presentations, seminars, customer trainings, and webinars.
Deliver training programs to both internal and external customers. Collaborate effectively with internal commercial, R&D;, and marketing teams to address customer needs, factor in commercial success expectations, and drive continuous improvement of team capabilities.
Who You Are
Master degree or Ph. D. In Biochemical Engineering or Life Sciences Experience in customer-facing technical roles or scientific consulting. Familiarity with scientific modeling tools applied to bioprocess optimization. 5-10 years of experience in delivering technical presentations at industry conferences or seminars. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to biopharmaceutical manufacturing (GMP, ICH guidelines). Experience in Systems and Automation is considered a plus.
